A chavurah is a small group of Jews who gather to socialize and share.

A chavurah brings people together who have like interests such as their home state, love of books, learning more about their religion, going out to dinner, talking about current events, etc. The JCV has several active groups who meet on a regular basis or at intervals that they determine.

Each group has a person who is the coordinator, but not the decision-maker, as that task is shared by the participants in the chavurah. Some groups have been in existence for years, and some have just begun.

If you have an interest in meeting other members of our congregation in small groups, please email us at membership@thejcv.org
