Caroline was born and raised in New York but graduated high school in Connecticut. She received her B.S. in Management from Wharton School and her M.A. in Organizational Dynamics, both from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Her past positions include: Real Estate Broker; Fundraiser for Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia; Director of Development of Jewish Family and Children's Services of Philadelphia; Director of Development at the Woman's Humane Society Bensalem, PA; and Fundraising Consultant in Planned Giving at Mainline Animal Rescue, Chester Springs, PA. In her spare time, Caroline enjoys bridge, drawing posters, and making jewelry with glass and resin.
Butch was born and raised in Philadelphia. He obtained his B.A. in History from Villanova University in PA and his M.S. in Information Science from Penn State University, in Park, PA. He worked in Information Technology and Telecommunications, and sometimes calls himself an 'Audiot' with an expertise in Audio Equipment, and 1960's music history. He enjoys audio, bike riding, walking, and handyman work.
The Ungers have two sons and one grandson. Their two dogs (Cairn Terrier and Javanese/Poodle mix) keep them company. Together, the Ungers enjoy world travel, live theater, and live music venues. They have been full-time Florida residents since December, 2021. We welcome them to our JCV family.
