Adriana and Aaron Schneider

Aaron was born in Miami, FL, and has his MBA from Barry University in Miami. He has worked for the corporate division of many large banks. He has also served as VP of Sales and has been named to the prestigious President's Club for several years in a row. In his spare time, Aaron enjoys swimming, going to the beach, golfing, and spending time with his family. 

Adriana was born in New Brunswick, NJ. She received her BS in Nursing from the University of Florida and worked as an RN in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for many years and then became a Board Certified Lactation Consultant. After working as a lactation consultant, she became more interested in holistic health and started her own herbal apothecary, The Herb Nurse. In her spare time, Adriana loves painting, running, cooking, gardening, and also spending time with her family. 

Aaron and Adriana have two daughters. Alana is 13 and had her recent Bat Mitzvah at our JCV. She is an avid violinist, tennis and golf player, and loves spending time with her sister, Ella. Ella is 10 and loves playing volleyball, swimming, creative writing and drawing, and playing with their family dog, Shermie, and their hermit crab. We welcome this lovely family to our JCV congregation and look forward to more 'nachas.'

Terese Tomenak and Steve Davis

Terese Tomenak was born and raised in St. Paul, MN. She received a BA in Psych and Sociology from the University of Minnesota in Duluth. After graduating from chiropractic college she set up her solo practice in Duluth and later joined a family practice group. She then became an EMT and a team doctor for two local high schools. After retiring from chiropractic, she began her chaplaincy training eventually attending seminary at St. John's University, St. Cloud, MN. After ordination, Terese served as a campus minister, worked in the local hospital, and was a chaplain at a juvenile residential treatment center. Currently, Terese serves as a City Councilor in Duluth, MN. Terese loves hiking, baking, reading, knitting, kayaking, and quilting. 

Steve Davis was born in Duluth, MN, and is a lifetime resident there. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth, with an Urban Studies degree. His career though has always been in retail sales. Steve enjoys walking, 'reading' (audio books), being active at his Duluth temple and involved with social and service groups, supporting local charities, plus cooking for the less fortunate. Also, Steve is very involved with University for Seniors at University of Minnesota Duluth, including taking interesting classes. 

Terese and Steve love spending time with family and friends and also enjoy world travel. They have a son and his partner in Chicago and a daughter with her partner in San Francisco. Their rescue dog, 'Poppy,' also adds to their lives. Terese and Steve state that our JCV is turning out to be their 'home away from home' as they spend their winters in friendly Venice, FL. They appreciate our welcoming JCV congregation.
