Rabbi’s Torah Study

During weekly sessions on Thursdays from 2:00-3:00pm, the rabbi leads a lively discussion of each week’s Torah portion. The sessions begin with the rabbi’s blessing of Torah study, reminding the participants that these studies are the fulfillment of a mitzvah, connecting us to God and one another in love. The rabbi then presents passages from the Torah portion for study and reflection, utilizing traditional Jewish sources and relevant modern-day film and music. Though Hebrew terms are introduced, no knowledge of Hebrew is necessary to participate in Torah study.
