2:00pm: Israel Independence Day with some Torah study
JCV members join Rabbi Benjamin Shull in celebrating. This will be part of the JCV weekly Torah study Zoom, including a discussion about this special story described below from the podcast, Israel Story. It's a haunting tale of an exodus from Egypt and a quest for a place to call home. The main figure is a remarkable Sudanese girl, a refugee, who finds her way to Israel...and from Israel and back. It's a story that touches the Jewish heart and challenges the Jewish soul.
Everyone is welcome!

JCV Website Tips
Over the past year, the JCV website has been redesigned to be a more comprehensive communication tool for the JCV congregants and the public who wish to learn more about the JCV. Please visit us often at www.jewishcongregationvenice.com. Over the next several weeks you will find an article in JCV News that provides helpful tips about the website.
We’re back again with more JCV Website Tips. This week is about the Calendar, which shows English and Hebrew dates.
● You can reach the calendar from the navigation bar by clicking on the title, “CALENDAR.”
● The first thing you should do is decide what you want to see in your calendar by using the drop down box in “Calendars to Show.”
● There is a box that asks about the date you want to see. If there is a specific day, use the drop down box to select it. If you wish to see all days, leave the word “none” in the box.
● Then click “Update View.”
● Keep watching this calendar for zoom links and event registration.
