JCV Blog

Ferris was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA.  She received a B.A. at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA and went on to graduate with her Masters in Speech and Pathology from Trenton State College, Trenton, NJ.  Ferris was employed with the School District of Philadelphia and is currently retired.  She enjoys Mah Jongg, yoga, and is an avid reader.  Richard was born in Passaic, NJ.  He received his B.S. and B.A. from Emerson College, Boston, MA.  He went on to receive his M.A. in International Relations/Business from the University of Chicago.  He was employed as an executive in the men's apparel business in New York City and is now retired.  He spends time playing pickleball and enjoys bike riding.  Together, Ferris and Richard enjoy kayaking, the beach, world travel, and dining out.  Before moving to Venice, the Rinkos resided in Maple Glen, PA for over 30 years.  They have two daughters and one son. They also enjoy and have fun with their two rescue 'Morkies' (Yorkie and Maltese mix).  We welcome Ferris and Richard to our JCV family and look forward getting to know them.
